You've been training your dragons and taking care of your Berk, now comes the time to put your dragons to the test in the arena! Brawl furthers your Dragon Trainer experience by letting you control 3 of your dragons during a fight against another Dragon Trainer and their team of dragons. Brawl unlocks at Meade Hall Level 4 and you must have at least 3 Dragons on Berk.
Brawl is a 3 vs 3 turn-based combat game mode where each dragon has special abilities you can use to fight, earn tokens and increase your ranking. You may choose which of your dragons you'd like on your team before starting a Brawl. In a match, you command your three dragons in the fight against your opponent. During your turns, you may choose your attack and swipe towards the opponent dragon you wish to attack.
Each dragon type has a specific amount of total health (shown as a green bar). Attacking with damage-based attacks lowers their health. When swiping over an opponent, a red bar on your opponents health will indicate the potential damage. Some attacks apply status effects. Any status effects affecting a dragon will be displayed above the green health bar.
As Brawl is a turn-based game mode, you will find the turn order for the match visible on the right side of the screen.
Some things to keep in mind in regards to Brawl:
- Not all dragons are available for Brawl. We regularly add new ones to the mix, however, so stay tuned!
- More dragons become available to use as you progress through arenas. You can check this by pressing on the arena banner in the Brawl menu.
