Scales are the currency obtained when dragons are ascended to the Hidden World. You can obtain Scales by ascending dragons through the Ascension Chamber. The amount of Scales earned per ascension will depend on the rarity of the dragon, their level, and the amount that were ascended. Ascending multiple rare and well-trained dragons will grant you more Scales!

 

There are two types of Scales that can be obtained:

• Regular Scales: These Scales are obtained from ascending any and all dragons. They can be used on the regular Ascension Portals.

• Elusive Scales: These Scales are obtained from ascending dragons of a specific species. When ascended, half of the scales obtained will be regular Scales, and the other half become Elusive Scales.

Dragons that will provide Elusive Scales will be marked in the Ascension Chamber with an Elusive Scale icon at the bottom of their card. You can filter the list by "Elusive" to make them easier to spot.

You can use both your Scales and Elusive Scales on the Ascension Portals to obtain random rewards such as resources, dragons, and more. There is even a Portal to obtain a Legendary Dragon, so be sure to take advantage of it!
