Every now and then, our Dragons: Rise of Berk newsletter or our official social media posts may include a promo to obtain some free resources. These promos come in the form of a clickable link. In order for these links to work, here are some points you need to keep in mind:
- The link needs to be accessed from the same device you are using to play Dragons: Rise of Berk. Attempting to claim these via PC, for instance, will not work.
- If you receive a prompt asking to open the app after clicking the link, please agree to it. It will launch the game and add the Runes to your balance.
- The links cannot be used more than once per player. Attempting to use them more than once will result in an error.
- Social media post promos ("Claim Free Runes!") are time-sensitive and cannot be claimed 48 hours after they have been posted. Be sure to check our social media channels often as they are regularly posted.
If you are using the Facebook App and you are having issues when trying to open a link from one of our social media posts, please follow these steps:
- On your Facebook app, open the menu (three lines icon).
- Expand "Settings and Privacy". Select "Settings".
- Select "Media".
- Check the "Open links in external browser" setting to enable it.
