Fish, alongside wood, are the main resource to train your dragons and increase their level. You can obtain fish through multiple activities:
  • Gathering: Send out your dragons to collect fish.
  • Berk Market: You can use Runes to purchase a small portion of fish or fill up your storage.
  • Cardpacks: Some Card Packs (such as Mystery Packs) may drop resource cards which provide you with resources such as fish.
  • Completing Quests: Complete Story quests as well as sidequests to obtain rewards, such as resources, which includes fish.
  • Brawl: If all your Token Pack slots are full, you will get fish or wood for winning a match.
  • Gauntlet: After winning a Gauntlet match, the wheelspin may reward you with fish.
  • Defend Berk: The chests rewarded for clearing Defend Berk may provide fish.
  • Releasing Dragons: Letting a dragon go will provide you with fish and Raw Amber in return.
