Wood, alongside fish, are the main resource to train your dragons and increase their level. Wood is also used to construct and upgrade several buildings on Berk. You can obtain wood through multiple activities:
- Gathering: Send out your dragons to collect wood.
- Berk Market: You can use Runes to purchase a small portion of wood or fill up your storage.
- Cardpacks: Some Card Packs (such as Mystery Packs) may drop resource cards which provide you with resources such as wood.
- Completing Quests: Complete Story quests as well as sidequests to obtain rewards, such as resources, which includes wood.
- Brawl: If all your Token Pack slots are full, you will get wood or fish for winning a match.
- Gauntlet: After winning a Gauntlet match, the wheelspin may reward you with wood.
- Defend Berk: The chests rewarded for clearing Defend Berk may provide wood.
- Removing Trees: Removing tree obstacles around Berk will yield wood depending on the size of the obstacle.
