Iron is a resource unlocked at Meade Hall level 12. At this level of progress, iron becomes necessary to train your higher level dragons as well as upgrade your buildings. You can obtain iron through multiple activities:
- Gathering: Specific dragons (once they are level 80) can be sent out to collect iron in exchange for fish or wood.
- Cardpacks: Some Card Packs (such as Mystery Packs) may drop resource cards which provide you with resources such as iron.
- Completing Quests: Complete Story quests as well as sidequests to obtain rewards, such as resources, which includes iron.
- Journey: Some Journeys may offer iron as the final reward.
- Alpha Pass: Some nodes of the Alpha Pass may offer iron.
