If you launch Jurassic World Alive and see a blank Map we recommend you try the following:
  • Clear your cache. This can be done from device Settings on Android. iOS users can clear their cache by reinstalling the app. Please note that if you are playing as a Visitor and you uninstall the app, you will risk losing your progress. To avoid this please connect your game to Facebook or Game Center.
  • Reboot your device
  • Uninstall any app that may interfere with your GPS location. Please note that Jurassic World Alive does not support the use of location forwarding. As a result, any app on your device that interferes with your location may cause issues in-game
  • Access your device Settings, and opt to use the highest accuracy GPS
  • Did you install the app on an external storage? If so, please attempt to re-install the app on your device's internal storage and see if that resolves the issue.
  • Have you tried downloading your area from Google Maps for offline use? Doing so might help alleviate any remaining Map loading issues you may come across. The steps on how to do so can be found below:

Android: Download areas and navigate offline

Note: You can save maps on your device or an SD card. If you change the way you save maps, you’ll have to download the map again.
  1. On your Android phone or tablet, open the Google Maps app .
  2. Make sure you're connected to the internet and signed in to Google Maps.
  3. Search for a place, like San Francisco.
  4. At the bottom, tap the name or address of the place  Download  Download. If you searched for a place like a restaurant, tap More  Download offline map  Download.

iOS: Download areas and navigate offline
  1. On your iPhone or iPad, open the Google Maps app .
  2. Make sure you're connected to the Internet and signed in to Google Maps.
  3. Search for a place, like San Francisco.
  4. At the bottom, tap the name or address of the place  tap More .
  5. Select Download offline map Download.
